1. What is Academic Vocabulary?
👉 Academic Vocabulary refers to words and phrases commonly used in formal writing and exams.
➡️ বাংলায়: একাডেমিক শব্দভাণ্ডার হলো সরকারি, শিক্ষা বা পরীক্ষামূলক লেখা-শৈলীতে ব্যবহৃত সাধারণ শব্দ ও বাক্যাংশ।
Example:

2. Common Academic Vocabulary Categories
a) Verbs (Action words used in academic writing)

| Demonstrate | প্রদর্শন করা | The experiment demonstrates a clear trend. পরীক্ষাটি একটি স্পষ্ট ধারা প্রদর্শন করে। |
| Investigate | অনুসন্ধান করা | Scientists investigate new ways to reduce pollution. বিজ্ঞানীরা দূষণ কমানোর নতুন উপায় অনুসন্ধান করেন। |
b) Nouns (Important concepts in academic writing)

d) Linking Words / Phrases

3. Examples in Sentences (Bangla + English)

👉 The researchers analyzed the data and reached a clear conclusion. - এই পদ্ধতি কার্যকর এবং সম্ভাব্য সুবিধা প্রদান করে।
👉 This method is effective and has potential benefits. - শহুরে এলাকায় দূষণ বেশি, তদুপরি জনসংখ্যা বেড়ে গেছে।
