1. What is Hedging?

👉 Hedging means using cautious or polite language instead of being too direct or certain.

2. Why Use Hedging?

3. Common Hedging Expressions

a) Modal Verbs

4. Direct vs. Hedged Sentences

  1. Direct: You are wrong.
    Hedged: You might be mistaken.
